Forrester says tablets are going to continue to lead hardware sales

mobile deviceTablets are taking over. Forrester Research released its annual IT spending report with news that tablets will continue to lead in hardware sales.  Tablet and devices continue to gain momentum at the cost of PC sales.  And PC sales will continue to shrink. Good news if you have web and mobile apps --not so good news if you have old PC legacy apps.  Apple continues to be the primary beneficiary in the tablet market.  There will be $135 billion spent on PCs in 2014, a rise of only $1 billion over 2013, with Windows devices down by $7 billion, and Apple Macs and tablets rising by $6 billion.
