How to identify Customizations to fulfill specific requirements?
Most of the Customizations related to specific customer needs (i.e. company coding standards, application architecture changes, ActiveX replacement) are identified in what is called the Migration Blueprint phase of the project. The Migration Blueprint is a preliminary assessment of the project, which includes activities related to understand the source code, the application architecture and the customer requirements. Most customizations opportunities are identified once the information from the Migration Blueprint is analyzed.
